Andrew Hyde is the Ecumenical Campus Minister at the University of Guelph
Bronwyn Corlett is the Program Minister for Recruitment at the United Church of Canada
Karen Orr is a Spiritual Director from Elmira ON
To the young adults and youth leaders from across Ontario who took part in a weekend consultation in February 2016...
The wisdom and insight shared by these folks helped shape the program immensely and affirmed the need to find ways by which communities of faith can walk with young adults as they ask big questions.
Thanks to the Five Oaks Retreat Centre for hosting us, and to Rev. Robin McGauley (formerly of Five Oaks) for casting a vision for this program.
To the Forum for Theological Exploration...
The gift of a Congregations Working with Young Adults Grant from FTE allowed us the time and resources to pursue this project and make it available for free.
The work FTE does in lifting up young leaders for church and society is a real gift. Their partnership and leadership in the area of vocational discernment is making a huge difference and changing lives.
To Xenia Vakova, a Toronto-based graphic artist and owner/operator of Joyful Noise Stationary...
Most of the graphics used throughout the Discoverment Process were created by Xenia for this project.
Xenia's own story is one of discerning how to use her giftedness in ways that lift up and affirm the belovedness of all people. It's been a real joy to partner with Xenia on this project.
To the United Church of Canada (Mission and Service)...
The Vision Fund Flourishing Ministries Grant support has allowed the Ecumenical Campus Ministry (UofGuelph) to continue developing this program, beyond the original vision of creating a small group curriculum. We are excited to live into the trust you have given us, and can't wait to see how the Spirit will move.
